Recovery of Missing Aurora Plane

 

According to the Associated Press, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reports that a twin-engine Piper 44 plane which had departed from Aurora and was missing has been found after apparently crashing in Northern Wisconsin.  The two occupants were reportedly killed. Elizabeth Isham Cory of the FAA reportedly said that the aircraft was found approximately five miles north of the Minocqua Woodruff Airport. The FAA communicated with the Vilas County Sheriff’s Department at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday about an overdue plane.  Cory … Read more…
