Husband and Wife Killed in Michigan Plane Wreck

 

Investigators are looking into the crash of a single-engine plane that tragically killed a well-known Fort Wayne, Indiana doctor and his wife Friday evening. Dr. Stephen Hatch and his wife, Kim, died on Friday evening in a plane wreck that left their son, Austin, in critical condition. A third person on the ground was seriously injured. Russian Plane Crash Leaves 44 Dead, 8 Injured

 

Forty-four passengers were killed and eight were severely injured in a plane crash late Monday night in Russia. The Chicago Tribune reported that a passenger jet, Tupolev-134, crashed and burst into flames  on its second attempt to land on a foggy night in northwestern Russia. Authorities are reportedly blaming, among others, the pilot for the accident, claiming that he had attempted to land in conditions that would not permit him to safely do so. Passengers “OK” Following a WWII Bomber Crash Near Aurora

 

The Chicago Tribune reported that a World War II “Flying Fortress” bomber crashed in a cornfield near Aurora Airport this morning. Seven passengers were reportedly treated, but were all deemed to be in fair condition following the break down. The fighter plane reportedly took off from Aurora Airport at 9:30 a.m. this morning and traveled about three or four miles before it made a crash landing. Troubling Air Safety Trends Lead to Reform Debate

 

                The recent fatal crash of an air ambulance near the outskirts of New Delhi has renewed concerns over air safety in India. Ten members of a single engine flight were killed in a wreck that the Aviation ministry has attributed to bad weather.
