Small Plane Crash in Phoenix
According to reports, this morning around 6 a.m. a small airplane crashed into a building close to a runway at the Deer Valley Airport in north Phoenix.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, one person died in the crash of the SR22 aircraft.
Rescue crews were reportedly seen battling the blaze that was sparked when the plane ignited into flames upon impact.
Phoenix Fire Department member, Scott Walker said that the building hit by the plane is City Wide Pest Control, located at North 19th Avenue and West Deer Valley Road.
