Tim Tomasik to Speak at Prestigious Aviation Seminar in New York
Press Release, 05/05/2009Timothy Tomasik, partner at Clifford Law Offices, has been invited to speak at the American Bar Association’s 2009 Seminar entitled Aviation on Trial June 4.
The day-long program that features litigations from around the country puts on a mock trial under the scrutiny of state and federal judges who offer real-time feedback and judicial insight. The program also includes a jury consultant and an ethics panel that will address “Ethical Speed Bumps in Aviation Litigation.”
Tomasik will be speaking on recent developments in aviation law, including the duty that is owed by air carriers for injuries and destruction of property on the ground.
Tomasik has handled a number of aviation cases including his work on the complex property damage claims involving the twin World Trade Center Towers that were destroyed in the tragic terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001.
