PartnerKeith Hebeisen has been a trial attorney for 20 years, and he has tried many cases to verdict and received record amounts. Mr. Hebeisen is known for his no-nonsense style. He's a serious thinker and an aggressive trial attorney, confident in his knowledge of the area of law and command of each client's facts. Mr. Hebeisen also finds time to give back to the profession in many ways. He served as President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association from 2005 to 2006. He is also very active in several bar associations and in political activities directed to preserving the right to trial by jury.
Mr. Hebeisen was the Editor of the Illinois Bar Journal for two years and enjoys using his strong writing skills as the author of a large number of publications. He has edited ITLA's Medical Malpractice Trial Notebook since 1992. Mr. Hebeisen has planned and moderated numerous continuing legal education programs, including the ITLA Medical Malpractice Seminar, a widely attended all-day program held annually in Chicago. He has presented numerous lectures at seminars for professional associations on topics from handling the defendant's expert to trends in health care law, an active area in the new millennium.
